The Miller / Packan Documentary Film Fund

Overview

The Miller / Packan Film Fund, established by The Rogovy Foundation in 2016, supports feature-length documentary films that educate, inspire, and enrich. Annually, the fund awards grants totaling $200,000 to eight to twelve filmmakers. These grants are intended for projects that address significant social issues and aim to foster a more enlightened and harmonious world.

Reward

Each grant provides up to $25,000 for production and post-production stages, or up to $15,000 for advanced development. The fund supports a variety of storytelling styles, including character-driven narratives, fact-based exposés, and informational perspectives on controversial subjects. There are no specific awards for runners-up; all selected projects receive grants based on their alignment with the fund's mission and the strength of their proposals.

Eligibility

The Miller / Packan Film Fund is open to filmmakers worldwide, with no restrictions on nationality or age. Applicants must be working on feature-length documentary films that focus on education, the environment, or civics. The fund supports projects in advanced development, production, and post-production stages.
