The Filter Photo Fellowship

Overview

Open to emerging and early-career artists and arts administrators, the Filter Photo Fellowship offers a unique, experiential opportunity to work collaboratively with an established, non-profit arts organization. It is designed to foster the professional development of an artist or arts administrator seeking to better understand and develop skills in the workings of a small non-profit.

Reward

This is a 10 hour a week position lasting from June 1st, 2025 – May 31st, 2026. Compensation includes ongoing mentoring with staff and industry professionals (as available), in addition to a stipend of $15,000 (paid monthly). ​

Application Requirements

Filter Photo are looking for applicants with a strong sense of initiative who are eager to use their unique experiences and perspective to influence the development of programming at Filter Photo. The Fellow will independently handle tasks with flexible working hours. The Fellow is required to work one shift on-site at the gallery per week, as well as attend weekly staff meetings (which can be in-person or remote). They will also assist at in-person and online events and provide support for exhibition installations.
