Overview
The 1st Photo Book Grants, organized by Eyes Wide Open with support from the French Ministry of Culture and SAIF, aim to assist photographers in publishing their first monograph. The program offers three grants, each tailored to specific groups: one for French photographers or those residing in France, one for women photographers of any nationality, and one for photographers from Global South territories. Recipients are expected to collaborate with an independent French publisher to produce their book.
Reward
The grant provides €5,000 to support the production of the photographer's first book in collaboration with an independent French publisher.
Eligibility
Open to photographers who have never published a monograph with a publisher.
