Overview

The V&A Parasol Foundation Prize for Women in Photography celebrates outstanding work by women photographers worldwide. Each year, the competition focuses on a specific theme, inviting artists to explore contemporary ideas through photography. The prize highlights innovative storytelling and aims to amplify the voices of women in visual arts.

Reward

Four winning artists will receive a £2,000 bursary and have their work featured in a group exhibition at the Peckham 24 festival. Winners will also receive international travel and accommodation expenses to attend the festival in London and participate in networking events with industry professionals.

Eligibility

The competition is open to women photographers worldwide. Applicants must submit up to 20 images from an existing or ongoing project created within the last three years, along with supporting statements and a proposed exhibition plan.
