Overview

For more than four decades, the Livingston Awards have recognized the best reporting by journalists under the age of 35. These prestigious awards spotlight exceptional storytelling across local, national, and international reporting, celebrating fresh perspectives and a commitment to uncovering the truth. The program aims to identify and support the next generation of newsroom leaders.

Reward

Winners receive $10,000 each in three reporting categories: local, national, and international. The awards honor work that demonstrates exceptional quality, impact, and originality.

Eligibility

Open to journalists under the age of 35 working in the United States or for U.S.-based media outlets. Eligible entries include work in print, online, video, audio, or data visualization formats.
