Knight-Wallace Fellowships

Overview

The Knight-Wallace Fellowship recognize, sustain, and elevate the careers of journalists to address the challenges of journalism today, foster civic engagement and uphold the role of a free press in a democratic society. They believe in the fundamental mission of journalism to document, interpret, analyze and investigate the forces shaping society.

Reward

Awardees recieve a stipend of $85,000.

Eligibility

Qualified applicants must have a minimum of five years of experience and be currently working in some aspect of journalism for a news organization or as an independent journalist. If you are not a full-time journalist, the majority of your work should be in journalism.
