Hearst Journalism Fellowship recruits, trains and retains talented journalists. They identify and develop high-caliber multimedia professionals from a diverse pool of the country’s best reporters, copy editors, photographers, designers and graphic artists.
Candidates should be college graduates with interest, experience or background in journalism or related fields. Those selected will have the opportunity to grow in one of the world’s best journalism organizations. Hearst Fellows are full-time employees with competitive salary and benefits, including health insurance, relocation allowance and housing stipend depending on location.
Anyone who is authorized to work in US for the 2 year duration and has completed coursework and obtained a college degree by August 1, 2025, following the application deadline is eligible. A bachelor’s degree with 1 – 2 years of journalism experience is required.
