The Harvard FSC – LEF Fellowship is a longstanding collaboration between the Harvard Film Study Center and the LEF Foundation, designed to support nonfiction filmmakers in the Boston area. The fellowship provides financial support, access to Harvard’s production resources, and a collaborative environment for filmmakers working in production or post-production. By offering mentorship and opportunities to share works-in-progress, it fosters artistic growth and innovative storytelling.
Winners receive $15,000 in funding, access to production and post-production equipment, and the opportunity to share their work through work-in-progress screenings and workshops at Harvard.
Filmmakers must reside within 75 miles of Cambridge, Massachusetts, and have a project in production or post-production. Applicants must be unaffiliated with Harvard during the fellowship year and have prior directorial experience.
